Once the battery has been removed, place the new one into its socket. Make sure that the positive side is facing up and that it is seated within all clips. Then slide the cover back down and toward the key-ring loop until it becomes loose and falls off. Then, you can remove the cover and reveal the key blade that is hidden within.
