A new generation of journalists are leading the charge to revitalize local media coverage and to reduce threats to the democratic process. Our aim is to obtain unprecedented resources to strengthen proven solutions, and eliminate long-standing injustices in journalism coverage and practice.



Recent graduates and students inaugurated the Austin Harvest produce market at the permanent location this week. It brings the arts and a sense of community to an area once known for gun violence. KBEZ's Jackie Kostek visited to speak with the company's founders, who have described their mission not just as providing food, but creating an atmosphere that is more welcoming part of their goal.
